Dr. Bob Dent, Chief Operating and Chief Nursing Officer of Midland Health

Dr. Bob Dent is the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating and Chief Nursing Officer at Midland Memorial Hospital. He serves on local, state, and national boards and organizations to help improve nursing and our healthcare system. He is passionate about advocacy, culture, and leadership. He recognizes the importance of the invisible architecture, our people and makes himself visible and approachable to all staff. He desires to create a more positive workplace environment so staff can deliver an exceptional experience for our patients and their visitors.

Bob received both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix. Bob earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing.
