Midland Health Appoints New Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Midland Health appointed Samuel Moore as the new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February. Mr. Moore fills the vacancy as Mr. Stephen Bowerman was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. 

Mr. Moore is joining our team from The University of Kansas Health System St Francis Campus in Topeka, KS where he has served as Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for the past 3 ½ years. Prior to that he held CFO roles in Florida and Oklahoma. He got his start in healthcare in 2010 at BSA Health System in Amarillo, Texas, where he served in financial leadership roles within the organization. Prior to entering the healthcare field, he worked in public accounting and auditing in both Lubbock and Amarillo. Mr. Moore received his Certified Public Accountant license in Texas in 2008 and holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting. 

Mr. Moore and his wife of eighteen years, Kelly, moved to Amarillo, Texas after marrying and have three children, Thaddeus – 15, Ezekiel – 12 and Selah – 10.
