The support group is for all moms/support persons who are in need of resources, education or who just want to come and enjoy some company. The group will start with a short education piece, the education will be different at each meeting. We are excited to be able to provide this support group as a place for moms to be able to come, talk and support one another. This 2 hour class is designed to help new moms get started with breastfeeding. The class is taught by certified lactation nurses and covers the basics of breastfeeding. It will include getting started breastfeeding in the hospital, pumping and storage of breast milk.
