Dr. Christopher Enakpene attended medical school in Nigeria at the University of Ibadan College of Medicine. He completed his first OBGYN residency in Nigeria at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. During his first residency, Dr. Enakpene spent one year as a Deutsch Academic International Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholar in Germany at the Friedrich-Alexander University Women Hospital in Erlangen, Germany for gynecological and minimally invasive surgery training. He then moved to the United States and completed his second OBGYN residency at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He worked as an OBGYN attending for three years at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York before he decided to undergo fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Enakpene completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and has completed the first phase of board certification in his subspecialty of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He recently relocated from Salt Lake City to Midland, Texas with his wife and children.
