Dr. Joseph Shayeb completed his medical degree from Catholic University in Lille France. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency in 1990 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, NY. Dr. Shayeb was named Chief Resident from 1990-91. In 1993, he completed a Critical Care Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and then came to Midland to join Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Shayeb has practiced medicine in the Permian Basin since 1994. Dr. Shayeb is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time traveling.
