Midland Health to Participate in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, November 6-12
Posted On: 10/30/2022
Keeping up its tradition of encouraging
employees to follow the highest of
standards, Midland Health announced
today that it will be participating in
Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week,
organized each year by the Society of
Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health
Care Compliance Association (SCCE &
HCCA). As a part of its efforts Midland
Health will provide tools and resources to
engage employee participation with
compliance and ethics awareness.
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is
an extension of Midland Health’s ongoing
compliance and ethics program, which is
headed by Michelle Pendergrass, MBA,
CHA. Midland Health has a Code of
Conduct that all employees are expected
to follow. “The Code of Conduct is a
critical component of our overall
Corporate Compliance Program. We have
developed the Code to ensure that we
meet our ethical standards and comply
with applicable laws and regulations.”
Company-wide compliance and ethics
education, held annually, allows our
organization to rollout new and updated
compliance and ethics program policies
and reinforce with employees their
compliance and ethics obligations.
Participation in Corporate Compliance and
Ethics Week gives additional opportunity
to shine a spotlight on the importance of
compliance and ethics and boost
compliance culture.
"The commitment that Midland Health
puts towards company-wide compliance,
privacy and ethics is celebrated once a
year, but implemented all year long with
various training and programs to maintain
the highest standards," said Michelle
Pendergrass, Chief Compliance/Privacy
Officer at Midland Health.
