The Heart Institute at Midland Memorial Hospital has been dedicated to providing cardiac care for Midland and surrounding areas for over twenty years. The Heart Institute's team of experts are committed to integrate evidence-based science, quality initiatives, clinical best-practices and proven guidelines into their care of patients with cardiovascular disease. Providing services such as cardiac catheterization and intervention, as well as cardiac and thoracic surgery and most recently adding electrophysiology services. Following cardiac procedures, patients are also provided with a cardiac rehabilitation program to provide continued care once the patient is discharged from the hospital allowing patients to return to their previous activity level.
The Heart Institute staff is active in the community, participating in health screenings and hosting an annual Walk for Hearts, Championship Hearts, and Rhythm Run. The Heart Institute has also received many awards and recognition including:
