Abraham Bejil is the Vice President of Facility Services for Midland Memorial Hospital. He is responsible for utility plant management, facility maintenance management, planning design and construction, property management, , police and security management, environmental services, food and nutrition services, and clinical engineering. Abraham began his medical career as a biomedical equipment technician in the Air Force and expanded into healthcare imaging as an engineer for Shimadzu Medical and Philips Healthcare. He eventually made a transition into the facility healthcare environment and has been leading the way with energy conservation projects within the Midland Health System.
Abraham is committed to both his profession and community and serves on local and statewide boards to include the Midland Planning and Zoning Commission, Region Director for the Texas Association of Healthcare Facilities Management, and board member for Bynum Elementary. Abraham has also earned his certifications as a Healthcare Facility Manager and Healthcare Operations manager, and is consistently looking for ways to improve processes, patient experience, and master facility planning.
