Marcy Madrid started her career in Public Relations at Midland Memorial Hospital in 2006, becoming the Director of Marketing and Public Relations in 2009 and Vice President of Planning and Marketing in 2014. In 2019, Marcy began her role as Vice President of Community Health for Midland Health, a system of healthcare partners in Midland Texas, including Midland Memorial Hospital. In her current role, Marcy oversees strategic planning, community health outreach, marketing and public relations, as well as managing Midland Health affiliated physician practices.
Before coming to MMH, Marcy was a morning show anchor and reporter for the local NBC affiliate, where she was recognized and awarded for her writing and storytelling skills by the Texas Association of Broadcasters. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Marcy moved to Tennessee in the late 90s where she graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a double minor in Spanish and Political Science. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Marcy is very involved in the community and is the president of Healthy City, a local nonprofit founded by her and her husband Carlos as well as several other local physicians and community members.
