Rohith Saravanan

Dr. Saravanan was named Vice President of Medical Affairs & Chief Medical Officer of Midland Health in January 2024. Having grown up in five countries throughout his life, he brings a global perspective to his personal and professional life. He completed undergrad at McMaster University in Canada, medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, and completed his clinical training in New York. He started his career in clinical medicine as a family physician providing care for the underserved population, and quickly grew into leadership roles in operations and strategy, in progressively larger settings. He went on to get an Executive MBA from the State University of New York in Buffalo, and his certifications from the AAPL and ACHE in Healthcare leadership, of which he is a fellow. He has led physician groups, urgent care & occupational medicine networks, ACOs, and acute care hospitals. Most recently, he operated a private equity fund with a focus in healthcare mergers & acquisitions. Prior to that he served as the Regional Chief Medical Officer for Steward Health in West Texas. Before moving to Midland in 2019, he led an outpatient care delivery network in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Saravanan is a physician executive with over 15 years of broad experience across the healthcare industry, including clinical care, quality, regulatory compliance, business development, operations, community partnerships, and strategic growth.
